Broad bean falafel

Broad bean falafel

 

700 g broad bean groats or 500 g whole boiled broad beans

1 tbsp tahini

2 garlic cloves

2 red chili

1 onion

2 dl graham flour

2 tsp salt

1 tsp cumin

1 bundle fresh coriander

zest and juice from 2 limes

Soak the broad bean groats for 10 min in water (water: 1 dl groats - 1 1/2 water)

Chop and saute the onion and chili. Mix all the ingredients and make puree from the mix. 

The mix can be a bit rough. Heat the oil in a thick bottom pan. Make round balls from

the mix and deep fry in the oil. If you use a frying pan, press the balls to patties.
